We learn engineering by building.
IUS Engineering Club (IEC) is a club founded by students of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at the International University of Sarajevo. We want to use what we learn in class on real projects and meet engineers working in the industry.
We track tasks in Linear, share our code in open repositories and work in the university labs. Members take direct responsibility for the projects they join.
Board and semester planCross-department projects
Computer, software, electrical and electronics, and industrial engineering students work together on the same hardware and software projects.
Software & AI Committee
We run weekly workshops on cloud systems, large language models, RAG and web development.
Hackathon and summit
We are planning DevHack, a 24-hour hackathon for university students across Sarajevo, and an annual technology summit at IUS.
Links with faculty and industry
Together with our advisor Prof. Dr. Leila Miller, we are building internship and mentoring links with the FENS dean's office and Sarajevo tech companies (Bit Alliance members).
