IUS PowerHub (Smart Powerbank Station)

A station that hands out a charged powerbank when you tap your student card.

Problem

Lecture halls, the library and the cafeteria have few outlets, so student devices run out of charge between classes.

Solution

Three charging stations will go on the ground floors of campus buildings. A student taps their IUS card and the station releases a charged powerbank.

IUS Dining App (Cafeteria Menu & Feedback)

The cafeteria's daily menu, prices and sold-out dishes on one screen. The first version is live.

Problem

Students rarely see the cafeteria menu in advance and have no way to give feedback on the meals.

Solution

A web app where you pick a weekday to see that day's dishes and prices, with finished dishes marked "Sold out". Cafeteria items are grouped by category, the breakfast buffet is listed at one price, you can search by dish or ingredient, and you can send a suggestion or complaint. Available in Turkish, English, Bosnian and Arabic.

Class Schedule for IUS (Weekly Timetable App)

An unofficial weekly class schedule app for IUS students. Type a course code and pick your section.

Problem

Every term, students build their timetable by hand: lecture times and rooms from the official schedule PDF, tutorials, labs and instructor details from eCampus.

Solution

Type a course code such as CS103 and pick your section: the day, time and room fill in, and the course name, ECTS, lecturers and office hours come from eCampus. The app works offline and keeps your timetable only on your own device. The Android app can also send a reminder before class and, in the evening, a list of tomorrow's classes.

Android shows a security warning for APKs from outside the Play Store; this is expected. Choose to continue and, if asked, allow your browser to install apps. To use it without any warning, open the web app and tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app” in the browser menu.
